Description
Correspondence regarding the reason for and the people who were Excommunicated by the Vatican for their stance against Bishop Hickey and other priests. The publication of the newspaper "La Sentinelle" and subsequent publications were the main basis for the Excommunication. Authors of the correspondence include Eugene LaJalbert, Elie Vezina, and Emile Dubuc. Also includes an address given to the representatives of the seven Kanakee County Council
