Written on back of photograph, "Mallet, E. Ponca, Pawnee, Otoe and Oakland Agency (1889). Poncas Blacksmith shop 5 stables in background." Inspection probably occurred in 1889, but the date of the photograph is unknown. The size of the photograph is 9.5"x 7.5" that is matted to a 12" x 10" cardboard stock.
